Psychological testing or clinical evalutions consist of assessing a person level of functioning or behavior. Psychological tests fall into six categories: (1) Achievement & Aptitude test measure knowledge of a specific topic; (2) Intelligence test measure one's ability to understand the world around them; (3) Neuropsychological test measure deficits in cognitive functioning due to various injuries to the brain; (4) Occupational test measure one's interest and match with the job that suits them; (5) Personality test measure one's style of personality; and (6) Specific clinical test measure specific interest such as anxiety, substance use, depression, etc.
